Sponge & Dressing Forceps
Surgical dressing forceps are the instrument used to hold small objects that are difficult to hold by humans during surgical treatments. They are normally based on two large pieces of metal that are connected by the hinge. These forceps are also known as Ring forceps and most commonly known as Sponge and dressing forceps. Sponge forceps have looked like a pair of scissors with loop handles at one end and ringed like jaws at the other end. The ringed ends allow the surgeons to hold sensitive tissues during surgery. These forceps are normally used by gynecologists and it is very easy for them to operate these without much harm of tissues.
